Bachelor President Aquino won’t meet Paris—Palace

MANILA, Philippines—Nope, President Benigno S. Aquino III is not meeting with hotel heiress and celebrity Paris Hilton during her short stay here, the Palace said on Monday.

Presidential spokesperson Edwin Lacierda said he checked the schedule of President Aquino and it did not include any appointment with Hilton, who is here for five days to open, among others, a luxury store in SM Megamall.

“The President is busy with matters of the state,” Lacierda also told reporters.

Hilton arrived in the country Sunday night amid rumors she would be meeting with the 51-year-old bachelor President.
