Sorry girls, Xian’s not going sexy

Not yet, anyway. Xian Lim, 22, says, “Maybe in time, I’d be comfortable enough to bare a little more.” The 6-2 looker does sexy pictorials for endorsements, “But that’s it for now. Whether I’d change my mind in the future, I cannot say. It would probably depend on the project.”

Xian Alexander Valderama Lim was born and raised in Daly City, California. When he came back to the Philippines, he first played basketball with the University of the East Warriors. Then he landed a bit role in the 2008 drama series “Eva Fonda.” His first major acting role was in the TV adaptation of the film “Katorse,” in 2009.

He’s not ready, either, for romantic involvement. “I’m sure I’ll find time eventually for that,” he says. “I’m focusing on important things. Maybe this is why people think I’m aloof.”

A homebody, Xian admits he likes conservative girls. “I’m not the outdoorsy type. I enjoy playing the piano at home. My parents are separated and I live with my mom. She tells me never to rush things, and to concentrate on what’s important.”

Xian is currently working on the romantic comedy series “Binondo Girl,” top-billed by Kim Chiu, and set to premiere on ABS-CBN on August 22. He is also promoting the two-part “SPARKada Trip” series that Studio 23 co-produced with Chevrolet Philippines.

“SPARKada Trip,” directed by Ruben Pedrialba, which follows a road trip from Edsa to the Laguna lake towns, airs Tuesday on Studio 23, with two-minute “mini-sodes” that follow each character.
