The signing of contract was attended by Poe, Rasonable, GMA 7 chair and CEO Felipe L. Gozon, Alternative Productions AVP Gigi Santiago-Lara and Poe’s talent manager Leo Dominguez.
“She’s a good actress. All you have to do is look at her and watch her perform, and you’ll know what I’m talking about,” Gozon told the Inquirer. “The network has many plans, that’s why we try to make the good ones [to stay with us].”
The 24-year-old actress, whose previous contract with the Kapuso network expired in March 2013, was rumored to have been involved in a negotiation with rival network TV5 in April. Poe denied this, adding that she just decided to take a month-long break from TV work to finish all her film projects.
Lovi was last seen in the Kapuso afternoon drama “Yesterday’s Bride.” On the big screen, she will be featured in the Joel Lamangan drama “Lihis” and “Sana Dati,” by Jerrold Tarog.”
