EVERYBODY was shocked to read Sarah Geronimo’s tell-all interview in an entertainment magazine. For the first time, she talked about her thwarted romance with Rayver Cruz. What are the sentiments of Rayver’s girlfriend, Cristine Reyes, regarding the issue?
Not too long ago, Cristine went on a rampage vs. Sarah in Twitterlandia. “Clear naman sa article na di kami pinagsabay ni Sarah. Di naman lalaki ang gulo kung hindi sa fan ni Sarah na si Ana,” Cristine explains.
“Kilala ko si Ana. Bata pa ako fan na siya ni ate Ara so madalas siya sa bahay namin. Ang mali ko lang nag-trust ako kay Ana. Pinaglaruan niya kami ni Rayver para protektahan si Sarah. Pinangunahan niya kami.
“Kaya lang naman ako nagagalit kasi Sarah is always acting up when I’m not around. I feel bad for Rayver kasi di siya pwede mag-react dahil siya ang mapipintasan … Tingin ng tao kay Sarah kawawa dahil iniwan siya ng lalaki. She can do whatever she wants but not with me.”
What exactly did Ana do? “She kept calling me to ask what’s with me and Rayver when we were getting close pero wala pa talagang ligawan nun,” Cristine clarifies. “For the record naging kami ni Rayver Sept. 14, 2010 at nag break sila ni Sarah nung March 2010 so walang pag-overlap.
“When Ana called me di ko alam naka-speaker phone pala ako.
A love triangle is never an easy thing. Matters are aggravated when the lovers are in show biz, where every possible angle of intrigue will be dangled. The “triangle” loses its shape with all the “characters” involved. And neither the right form nor real function of love is clearly seen and felt anymore.
Be that as it may, Cristine and Sarah should try not to be too much of women in love and be ladylike enough to be friends. They happen to belong to the same home studio, ABS-CBN (although rumors have it that Sarah is soon moving to TV5 to avoid crossing paths with Cristine) and they have the same handler, Viva Artist Management. But their other common denominator, Rayver Cruz, should be banished from the equation.
Borrow one from zero cannot be. Do the math. Such is the arithmetic of love a la show biz.
Drab to dazzling
Catch the movie “Who’s That Girl” while you still can. The joint venture of Viva Films and SM Development Corp. is top-billed by Anne Curtis and Luis Manzano.
Anne plays Bea, a wallflower who is head over heels in love with campus heartthrob John, played by Luis. He hardly notices Bea until one day, at his lowest, he takes a moment to talk to her and cheer her up. That simple act becomes life-changing for Bea.
She transforms into a beautiful and successful career woman. The twists and turns that ensue after is one solid laugh trip.
Sweet tweets
The tweets of Marvin Agustin to his exes, Jolina Magdangal and Paulene Luna, are so cute.
Equally amusing is the tweet exchange of Jolens and Pau.
Here are some examples: Jolens (@mariajolina) to Marvs (@AgustinMarvin): At deadma talaga sa tanong ko sa pag-aasawa.
Jolens to Pau (@PauleenJLuna): “Haha! Style yan ni Marvs. Pansinin mo na daw kasi. Balikan ba ito? Chos!”
Pau to Jolens: “Di noh ate! Marami magagalit na Jolens-Marv fans. Mahilig lang sumabat si Agustin. Haha!”
Marvs to Jolens: “Hi labtim!”
Marvs to Pau: “Ma’am sandali lang po. Malapit na. (His reply to Pau’s tweet: “Waiting for the masseuse. It’s gonna be an early night for me.”)
Even if Marvs ends up with another girl, Jolens and Pau will be his “Tweethearts” forever.
