KC’s informative tweets

Elena Aliban, social scientist: “I’ve been scanning the tweets of celebrities and find KC Concepcion’s posts particularly informative and educational. She’s taken her followers to different places around the world, with beautiful, vividly captioned photos.

“It was a joy seeing the spires of a cathedral in Florence, birds flying over Venetian canals, the treasures of the Louvre and Vatican museums, the beaches in Brazil, the snows of Hokkaido, etc.

“Her advocacies—fighting hunger, addressing the needs of abused children, promoting Filipino designers—are notable. She is truly a woman of substance, because she helps elevate the consciousness of the viewing public.”

Other notes:

Vic Gatdula, businessman: “I hate it when actors wash their dirty linen in public and waste precious hours of broadcast time, exposing the gory details of personal issues we shouldn’t care about. Ironically, after revealing more than they should, they  then request the viewing public to respect their privacy! —Where’s the logic in that?”

Hosting skills

Yolanda Blanco, housewife: “There’s more to ‘Eat Bulaga’s’ Ryzza Mae Dizon than teaching and dancing the cha-cha! This I found out after watching her new talk show. She still has much to learn about hosting, but otherwise, it’s a fun show.”

Maria Joji Villaseca, educator: “Mareng Winnie Monsod is just the type of TV host we need, especially now that the elections are just weeks away. Her no-holds-barred questions help us assess and evaluate the capability and competence of candidates.”
