Respect goes hand in hand with humility. It requires the insight to perceive that other living beings are among God’s children. Everyone deserves courtesy and fair treatment.
When we see others only as a means to enjoy or exploit, we don’t respect their freedom and rights, so we use them and cause them pain.
If a person is proud and arrogant, it’s difficult for him to respect others.
Even the poor and uneducated are worthy of respect, because we all come from the same loving Supreme Father.
Spiritual vision
With spiritual vision, there would be no exploitation.
Respect means acknowledging that even imperfect beings are loved by the Supreme Person.
Respect results in open communication and tolerance.
Respect for Mother Nature means living in accordance with God’s laws.
