Filipino filmmaker Khavn de la Cruz’s “Mondomanila” won special mention honors, best feature and best director, at the 5th Bangalore Queer Film Festival in India.
“Mondomanila” competes April 9 at the 10th Dokumentarfilmwoche in Hamburg, where it will also have a DVD and theatrical release.
De la Cruz was an honoree in the first Indie Bravo! Tribute in 2010. Bayani San Diego Jr.
