Filipino director cited in Bangalore Queer Film Festival

MANILA, Philippines—Filipino filmmaker Khavn de la Cruz won special mention-best director for “Mondomanila” at the 5th Bangalore Queer Film Festival in India.

After Bangalore, the film will compete at the Hamburg fest in Germany, where it will also have a theatrical release, De la Cruz told the Inquirer—Bayani San Diego Jr.
