(Part 3)
Life is one long Station of the Cross. We all have our own “Calvary” to conquer. I’ve been to hell and back in the name of love. Now that my heart is in limbo, I will ask God what it would take for my heart to get to Paradise.
May we all learn not just to love God but to be in love with Him and always want to be near Him.
John Arcilla: Adulthood is an inevitable reality; I’m discovering a lot of ironies in life as I go through it. Frequently, the most convenient resting place is skepticism or apathy. But as I reflect on the life of Jesus and other martyrs of our times, I have created a space for understanding, humility and acceptance without complacency. Just like Jesus, we have to fight and die for what is good and just.
Toni Rose Gayda: It need not be Lent to reflect on life. At the end of each day, I try to remember if I lived according to the teachings of our Lord. I try to keep short accounts. This Holy Week let us look not only upon our lives but to the One who gave up His so that we may live.
Rufa Mae Quinto: Jesus is alive forevermore. He died on the cross for our sins so we should repent and be grateful.
Precious Lara Quigaman: I want to remind myself of how truly good God is, how much I owe Him. With a baby now, life has been quite busy—there are times I forget that life is all about Jesus and that I should be grateful in every circumstance.
Mr. Fu: Holy Week is a quiet time for me. I’m usually alone, reflecting on life. This year, I hope to do this with someone.
