(Part 2)
Let’s take a break from the show biz circus and pay homage to the real Superstar, Jesus Christ. We all have crosses to bear. Emotional baggage can get too heavy; God loves us enough to help us unload.
My Holy Week thoughts center on how I can unlearn old life patterns that are detrimental to my emotional and spiritual growth. I will let the Lord take over. Only He can turn the broken pieces into masterpieces.
Ogie Alcasid: I will reflect on God’s overly abundant love for us. He sent His Son to die and save us from our sins. All we need to do now is believe and have faith. That is an ex-deal that I will always be grateful for. God is so good and great!
Rita Avila: I reflect on any day that I need to; not only Holy Week. Shouldn’t we always keep in mind God’s great love and sacrifice for us every single day?
John Estrada:I will reflect on God’s love and presence in my life. Last year was difficult because I lost my dad. But despite the trials, I am thankful for the love of my family and children. I
give thanks and glory to Him because I know he is always with me.
Amy Perez: I will take time to meditate and listen to God and not ask for anything. Usually when we pray, we ask God for so many things. This week I will just listen.
Louie Heredia: I will reflect on what other ways I can do to help the less fortunate, and pray that He guide me to be a better Christian all year round.
Aiko Melendez: I just renewed my personal relationship with God so Holy Week will be more of an affirmation of faith [for me].
