TAYLOR. Her “romantic biography” includes eight marriages.

When TV-Film stars fall in and out of love, mere mortals gawk in awe, amazed at their stellar passion.

The most memorable stellar love stories ever told are paced by Elizabeth Taylor’s “romantic biography,” which includes eight marriages, including twice to the same man (Richard Burton), the love of her life (producer Mike Todd), an heir to a hotel chain (Nicky Hilton), the man she infamously stole from Debbie Reynolds (Eddie Fisher), a US senator (John Warner), and a former truck driver (Mark Fortensky)!

For her part, quintessential sex goddess, Marilyn Monroe, first got married to a blue-collar worker, James Dougherty, but quickly moved up the celebrity ladder with her subsequent relationships—to executive producer Joseph M. Shenck, top talent agent Johnny Hyde, baseball icon Joe DiMaggio, the famous playwright Arthur Miller, in addition to rumored affairs with sundry leading men like Yves Montand—and two Kennedy brothers, first with the US president, then with his brother, Attorney General Robert K.!

FEATURED STORIES

She loved both DiMaggio and Miller, but they simply couldn’t take the whirlwind that was her stellar lifestyle, so they opted out, leaving her to deal with her demons as best she could, until her still controversial death.

Over in Europe, the reigning sex kitten was Brigitte Bardot, whose sensual appeal enraptured more than her share of famous lovers, in addition to millions of devotees in the dark.

Other men she had passionate liaisons with included actor Sami Frey, Brazillian car dealer Bob Zaguri, and German industrialist Gunther Sachs, who later married her.

When that brief marital union ended, Bardot dallied with a young student, Patrique Giller, then moved on to an affair with a Czechoslovakian sculptor, Miroslav Brozek.

MONROE. Her sensual appeal enraptured more than her share of famous lovers

After reading about the romantic adventures of Elizabeth Taylor, Marilyn Monroe and Brigitte Bardot, you’d think that the ladies have all the fun—but, you’d be dead wrong: All by his lonesome, Warren Beatty has equaled, if not topped, their passionate exploits, and then some.

It helps, of course, that he’s drop-dead gorgeous, but that isn’t the only attractive quality he has. He’s also exceedingly talented as a writer-director, as exceptional films like “Red” has proven beyond the shadow of a doubt.

Unique combination

With his unique combination of stellar and artistic “attraction,” Beatty has captivated some of the world’s most beautiful women—Joan Collins, Natalie Wood, Jane Seymour, Leslie Caron, Julie Christie, Kate Jackson, Diane Keaton, Michelle Phillips, etc!

Dubbed in his prime as the Bachelor King of Hollywood, Beatty has opted for relative domesticity in the arms of his “permanent love,” Annette Bening. But, his fans continue to hope that, like Marlon Brando, who belatedly starred in his “old age” in “Last Tango in Paris,” Beatty will soon topbill a new starrer, to remind viewers of his cool, macho appeal—and vitality!
