MANILA, Philippines—Representatives of “Asap 18,” ABS-CBN’s Sunday noontime variety show, attended a gender sensitivity inquiry on Tuesday, MTRCB chair Eugenio Villareal told the INQUIRER.

MTRCB stands for Movie Television Ratings and Classification Board.

“The meeting went smoothly,” Villareal said.

He added the board asked the network to present a written procedure for wardrobe (no later than March 11), the appointment of gender sensitivity point person (aside from a decorum officer) and for “Asap” representatives to undergo a gender-sensitivity seminar.

The inquiry stemmed from the February 24 episode of “Asap 18,” which featured actress Anne Curtis wearing a “provocative” gown in a wet-look production number.

Laurenti Dyogi, head of TV programming led the ABS-CBN representatives while MTRCB board member Noel del Prado chaired the ad-hoc committee.
