PAULEEN says she’s “very happy” with her relationship with boyfriend Vic

Actress Pauleen Luna, who recently admitted to dating comedian Vic Sotto, confessed that she still doesn’t see eye to eye with the latter’s children.

Vic’s grown kids Oyo and Danica have been very vocal about their disapproval of their father’s relationship with Pauleen, his “Eat Bulaga” cohost and who is 34 years his junior.

Oyo, who is five years older than Pauleen, even posted his views on the issue on his Twitter account but later deleted them.

Pauleen said she would still “respect” how Vic’s chidren look at their May-December affair.

“I have not had the chance to see them again, but I look forward to it. It’s not as if it’s my first time to meet them,” she said during a press conference for her latest show “Unforgettable” on GMA 7.

“However, I don’t know if they’re open to it just yet. As for me, I only have high respect for them,” she added.

The actress said she’s “very happy” with her relationship with Vic. “I’ve never experienced seeing and being with (a loved one) every day. I get to mix love with work,” she quipped.

“I’ve already come to my senses—I must value privacy,” the actress pointed out.

This could be attributed to the numerous negative comments she has been getting on social networking sites.

Pauleen said she tried not to let these bashers affect her. “People are going to say what they want to say, even though you try to live a really clean life. As long as I’m not doing anything wrong, as long as I’m not stepping on anybody’s toes, and I know that no one is hurt by my actions, I’m okay.”

Pauleen said she simply deletes negative comments, especially on her Instagram account where she occasionally posts photos of her and Vic together.

She clarified the rumor that Vic gifted her with a brand new house. “It’s just not mine. It’s my parents’. I only contributed to it a little,” she pointed out while insisting that Vic had contributed nothing.

She added: “If he really gifted me with anything, I’d proudly show it off. I was never known to tell lies. I may be more private now, but I don’t lie.”

In “Unforgettable,” Pauleen plays third party to the romance of Anna and Ed, portrayed by Kylie Padilla and Mark Herras, respectively. The series, which also features Phillip Salvador, Benjamin Alves, Polo Ravales, Carmi Martin, Chariz Solomon, Pancho Magno and Timmy Cruz, among others, airs weekdays after “Eat Bulaga.”
