The documentary “Harana” has finally scored a screening in filmmaker Benito Bautista’s current home base, San Francisco, California.

“Harana” will premiere at the Pacific Film Archive Theater on March 16 during the Center for Asian American Media Film Festival (formerly San Francisco International Asian American Film Fest).

“Harana” chronicles a Filipino-American’s quest to meet practitioners of the dying tradition of serenading.

Bautista was an honoree at the third Inquirer Indie Bravo! Tribute. Bayani San Diego Jr.
