A colorful transformation for Hunk
CUTE Hunk’s rustic ways were once charming. Observers thought he was too naïve and unaffected for show biz.
After a grand debut in a sexy (indie) film, CH disappeared from the scene. He reportedly worked abroad for a while as a “hosto” (a guest relations officer who entertains lonely gays and matrons).
When he returned home, he looked a bit different—chubbier (because he loves to eat), and sporting multi-colored hair. Quite tellingly, he is often spotted holding hands with a handsome young stud.
Small-town CH is now a “woman” of the world.
Sweet revenge
Struggling Debonair Actor fell in love with Pretty Heiress of a wealthy clan. The parents naturally didn’t approve and made sure the girl would end up with more suitable suitors. Though disappointed, DA didn’t become bitter; he got better.
Article continues after this advertisementDA worked hard and became one of the richest young men in the biz. He then fell for Beautiful Girl, who had also been snubbed by the haughty parents of an ex-boyfriend. DA and BG can now hold their heads high in front of people who once looked down on them.

TV Host 1 is livid, having heard that TV Host 2 had been spreading nasty rumors about TH1’s personal life.
TH1 claims that TH2 is green with envy because TH1’s career is on an upswing, while TH2’s is on a slump.
Instead of being paranoid, TH1 should know that it’s best to check one’s own backyard first. Someone in there may be fanning the flames.
Dry and dizzy
Pretty Starlet has lost a lot of weight. Gone is the baby fat, but she looks unhealthy. She seems to have aged by a decade—skin dry, eyes often blank, as though dazed and dizzy. Observers fear that PS has picked up a beau’s notorious compulsions.
Top of the Talk Shows
For those who missed last weekend’s TV gabfests (And why we are moved, if we are moved):
Luis Manzano, asked whether entering show biz was one of his dreams while growing up: “Siguro pinangarap kong magpasaya ng tao. Kahit na sa harap ng camera, o kahit simpleng patawa lang sa barkada.” (Siguro?)
Luis on the state of his love life: “I’m single…I can’t wait for love [to come], old or new… Hopeless romantic ako. I’m in love with love!” (Good for you.)
Isabel Granada, asked about the circulating text messages saying she had died due to ovarian cancer: “Maraming mga babaeng gumugulo sa relationship namin ni Geryk, so possibly, may mga naiinggit. And you know, they want me…dead!” (Take note, plural.)
Katrina Halili on being typecast as a teleserye villain: “Masaya naman ako na kapag kontrabida ang hanap nila, e ako ang hinahanap nila.” (Good answer.)
Angel Locsin on working with Aga Muhlach in their upcoming movie “In The Name Of Love”: “Kuya Aga’s the best talaga sa lahat ng mga nakatrabaho ko. Alam mo ’yung dedication niya…I’m very blessed na nagkaroon ako ng opportunity na makatrabaho si Kuya Aga.” (Boring answer.)
Alma Moreno, asked if she’s the only woman for her husband, Marawi City Mayor Fahad Salic: “Oo. Ang alam ko, ako lang. At ako lang ang mahal ng aking asawa!” (That sounds definitive.)
Vic Sotto, asked if he gets offended when tagged a womanizer: “Okay lang… huwag lang lalakero!” (Predictable answer.)
Vic, on what he’s like behind cameras: “Usually quiet…I’m a very good listener. Karamihan ng mga kasama ko madadaldal, eh kung dumaldal pa ako, wala nang makikinig sa kanila!” (Witty answer.)
Vic Sotto, asked whether he’s “available”: “I’m always available! Para akong karinderya… ituro mo lang, iluluto ko!” (Funny answer.)
Regine Velasquez on being seven weeks pregnant: “After I eat what I crave, I don’t like it anymore. Hindi ko na binabalikan. Parang pinaglilihian ko na si Dingdong Dantes at saka nagagwapuhan ako kay Richard Gutierrez.” (Neither of them looks like Ogie.)
