Some people have a habit of saying, “Go to hell!” But, who really goes to hell? The Vedas clearly states that hell awaits those who commit sinful acts. The Vedas describes the people destined to end up in hell:

A person who slyly cheats another man by enjoying his wife and children.

Someone who commits violence against others.

A cruel man who cooks birds and animals alive.

A sinful king or government official who punishes an innocent person or inflicts pain on saintly persons.

A person is no better than a crow if, after receiving food, he doesn’t share it with other guests and eats it himself.

A person who robs others of their valuables.

Someone who indulges in indiscriminate sex.

A person who poisons others and sets their houses on fire.

A man who lies while transacting business or giving charity.

Someone who is full of pride.

A person who hurts us and betrays our trust.

People who are always angry.
