Even families with celebrity-members celebrate this season of good cheer like ordinary Filipinos, wherever they are, as shown in numerous photos posted on Facebook.

For newlyweds Precious Lara Quigaman and Marco Alcaraz their firstborn, Noah, is “the best Christmas gift ever.” For emphasis, they posed for a snapshot with the baby under their Christmas tree.

For the second year, Sen. Francis Pangilinan and wife, singer-actress Sharon Cuneta, declared their pride in the new addition to their family, adopted son Miguel, who again joined them in their annual Christmas card portrait.

Singer-actress Zsa Zsa Padilla spent her first holiday season without long-time partner, Comedy King Dolphy, in Osaka, Japan. She was joined by daughters Nicole and Zia Quizon. Japan was the late comedian’s favorite destination.

US-based model-actress-producer Bessie Badilla, sister Bing Magsanoc and other siblings, observing an annual family tradition, visited the orphans at White Cross Children’s Home in San Juan City. In Facebook, Bessie quotes a wise man: “This is the best gift for me … the gift of giving.”

As in most Pinoy households, actors Cherry Pie Picache, Maritoni Fernandez, Carmi Martin, Vangie Labalan, Irma Adlawan and Tirso Cruz III, filmmaker Ellen Ongkeko-Marfil and manager Pia Magalona gathered their entire clans for reunions and hearty noche buena feasts.

After all, ’tis also the season to forget one’s diet.
