The greatest sacrifice of all

/ 12:26 AM April 19, 2011

THE REAL meaning of Lent is our Lord’s selfless love for us which He exemplified by dying for our sins. He paid the debt which wasn’t His to begin with.

With that in mind, I asked some celebs: “What was the greatest sacrifice you ever made for someone you love?” Of course, no amount of human sacrifice and suffering can compare to all the selfless things the Lord has done for the love of mankind. But in our own little way, we try to give our all to our loved ones, even when it’s not always easy.

Since I’m a hopeless romantic, I feel that we can never overdo something if it’s done out of love. How much is too much? My heart doesn’t know the answer. I keep giving even if I have nothing left to give. Some call it sacrifice. I like to think of it as a beautiful madness.
