Dennis Rodman must pay $500K in child support
ORANGE, California— Former professional basketball star Dennis Rodman has been found in contempt of court and ordered to pay $500,000 in overdue child support to his ex-wife.
An attorney for Rodman’s ex-wife Michelle said Thursday that the flamboyant basketball player was also sentenced to informal probation.
City News Service reports that Orange County Superior Court Commissioner Barry Michaelson warned Rodman he could face jail time if he didn’t pay the child support.
Rodman and his ex-wife still must work out custody arrangements.
A trial is set for Jan. 24, but both sides hope to resolve the custody dispute before that.

His attorney, Linnea Willis, didn’t immediately return an email seeking comment.
