Controversial Beauty an easy target

It’s becoming more and more obvious: a conspiracy to bring down Controversial Beauty. Is it just coincidence that CB is quarreling with Pretty Starlet who’s career is being handled by Showbiz Bigwig?

With the press painting a negative picture of CB, SB’s talents, including PS, are bound to benefit—particularly from a windfall of new jobs.

Come to think of it, CB also had an altercation with Stunning Upstart who’s somehow connected with SB, too (SB had dealings with SU’s manager in the past).

FEATURED STORIES

Is SB behind a hate campaign against CB in order to prop up PS, SU, among others?

Actually, CB is an easy target with her tempestuous ways.

Anything for love

Gay Insider would do anything for Handsome Actor. GI would scheme and steal projects from other stars so HA could shine.

Seems GI’s efforts are about to pay off—HA is on the verge of full-fledged stardom. But why is GI unhappy? Is it because HA isn’t reciprocating GI’s selfless love?

Quick to bounce back, GI is now eyeing Cute Hunk, also the product of a reality search, like HA. Hopefully reality will not bite GI (twice).

Heart attack

Heart Evangelista

Heart Evangelista explains why she isn’t keen on Regal’s Metro Manila Film Festival entry, “Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow,” which would have paired her with ex-flame Jericho Rosales.

She says she can’t handle the intrigues that will surely erupt due to the onscreen reunion.

“I haven’t recovered from this latest controversy (her feud with Marian Rivera),” she explains. “I might collapse and break down from the stress. I need a holiday from intrigues.”

Boyfriend Brazilian-Japanese model Daniel Matsunaga is her rock, she insists: “I am very secure in our relationship.”

Tonyboy Cojuangco, main patron of the Cinemalaya indie fest, was always accompanied by partner Gretchen Barretto during screenings at the Cultural Center of the Philippines last week. They were spotted watching “Amok,” “Niño,” “Ang Sayaw ng Dalawang Kaliwang Paa” and “Busong,” among others.

During the festival opening, the actress represented Cojuangco, who had accompanied their daughter Dominique to Stanford U in California, where she’s a college freshman.

Seeing more stars

We saw many more stars at the CCP for Cinemalaya.

At the screening of Quark Henares’ “Rakenrol,” Kapuso girls Jennica Garcia, Bela Padilla and Chariz Solomon were sighted, along with Kapamilya star Anne Curtis.

Although Jennica missed the gala of mom Jean Garcia’s movie “Sayaw,” she was present at “Rakenrol,” which top-bills boyfriend Alwyn Uytingco.

Uuuy.

Anne came with constant date Erwan Heussaff. Uuuy.

Jennylyn Mercado on past relationships: “Kapag tapos na, tapos na!“ (Ano ba talaga?)

Solenn Heussaff, asked if she’s dating anyone: “I’m super single and free to mingle!” (Ayun na!)
