The opening of the Miss World 2026 coronation night dazzled with the parade of 111 delegates at April 2 Square in Nha Trang, Vietnam on Saturday, Sept. 5.
The event kicked off with a performance of the traditional Cham dance and the candidates’ dance of the world presentation.
Philippine bet Asia Rose Simpson—who already earned a spot in the first round of elimination after her “Head-to-Head” challenge win—is hoping to bring home the country’s second Miss World crown since Megan Young’s 2013 win.
The end of the event will see the announcement of the new titleholder, who will be crowned by reigning queen Opal Suchata Chuangsri. /edv
