Lovi Poe joins Star Magic, expands partnership with ABS-CBN

Lovi Poe has officially signed with Star Magic, marking a new chapter in her career as she deepens her ties with ABS-CBN.
The contract signing, held on Tuesday, July 21, was attended by ABS-CBN Chairman Mark Lopez, President and CEO Carlo L. Katigbak, COO Cory Vidanes, Head of TV Production and Star Magic Laurenti Dyogi, and other executives.
Photos from the event were posted on Star Magic’s official social media pages. “Once again, we are beyond blissful and blessed to welcome you into our family, #LoviPoe!” read one of the posts.
During the event, Poe expressed gratitude for the trust and support she has received from the company and said she looked forward to taking on more projects under her new management.
Before joining Star Magic, Poe was managed by GMA Artist Center (now Sparkle GMA Artist Center) for 15 years.

In 2021, she transferred to ABS-CBN as an exclusive talent for its content productions but was not yet under Star Magic management.
Lovi, daughter of late action icon Fernando Poe Jr., gained a household name for the television dramas “Bakekang,” “Ang Dalawang Mrs. Real” and “Flower of Evil.”
She also earned critical acclaim in film, winning the Best Actress award at the 2010 Cinemalaya Philippine Independent Film Festival for “Mayohan.”
In 2023, Lovi founded her film production company, C’est Lovi Productions, and has expanded her work internationally.
Following her appearance in the American independent film “Bad Man,” the Filipina star is also set to appear in the international thriller “My Sister’s Bones” and “Ignition.”
Outside of show business, Lovi recently embraced motherhood after welcoming her first child with her husband, British film producer Monty Blencowe. /ra
