Binibining Pilipinas 2026 begins Grand Coronation Night

Fans are set to meet this year’s new Binibining Pilipinas queens as the pageant officially opened its Grand Coronation Night at Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City on Saturday, July 18.
The beginning of the show saw the candidates grooving to Sarah Geronimo’s “Tala” in their mauve pink dresses paired with salakot—before introducing themselves on stage.
A total of 35 candidates representing different provinces in the Philippines are vying for the Bb. Pilipinas International and Bb. Pilipinas Globe titles, which reigning queens Katrina Anne Johnson and Annabelle McDonnell are set to relinquish, respectively.
The finals night is hosted by Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray, Miss Grand International 2016 first runner-up Nicole Cordoves, Bb. Pilipinas Universe 2014 MJ Lastimosa, and Miss Universe 1999 first runner-up Miriam Quiambao.
Reigning Miss International Catalina Duque and reigning The Miss Globe Chayathanus Saradatta are also present to witness the coronation of the new queens. /edv
