Hollywood actress Anne Hathaway told Vogue magazine (December issue) that she could never measure up to Broadway stars Patti LuPone and Lea Salonga who previously played Fantine on stage.
In the movie version of the musical “Les Miserables,” Hathaway was cast as Fantine, a role that her mom Kate McCauley-Hathaway once portrayed, too. “Patti, Lea… my mom [are] powerful singers with big, beautiful voices.”
