Baus Rufo draws laugh after greeting ‘Unang Hirit’ viewers ‘Kapamilya’
Content creator and host Baus Rufo drew laughs after he served as a guest host of the GMA morning show “Unang Hirit,” then mistakenly called its viewers Kapamilya instead of Kapuso.
Rufo and his segment co-host Joy Barcoma visited a school in Rizal on Thursday, June 18, where they interacted with students.
When they were delivering their closing spiels, Rufo said, “Kaya naman mga Kapamilya — sorry, hello po, mga Kapuso.”
”Yes, I love it! It’s my first time. It’s live TV,” he stated.
Rufo shared a clip of the mixup via his Facebook page.
“Naging Huling Hirit na nga,” he said in the caption.
The management of the morning show also poked fun at the matter as they quipped, “IT’S GIVING ONBOARDING AND EXIT INTERVIEW REAL QUICK.”
“Baus, maliiiiii!” it added.
In turn, Rufo, thanked the management and joked that he is willing to work overtime and choreograph their intermission number for their Christmas party without talent fee to make it up to them.
He also disclosed in a separate post that he has been invited again to be a guest host on the show’s Friday, June 19, episode. /ra
