Kaye Abad honored her victory over breast cancer by getting a pink ribbon tattoo, which symbolizes awareness as well as solidarity with fellow fighters and survivors of the disease.
The celebrity mom showed herself getting a ribcage tattoo that has a pink ribbon and the word “faith” connected to it, via a video shared by the Cebu-based tattoo shop where she got inked.
Abad reposted the video through her Instagram Stories on Wednesday, June 3, adding a sticker that read, “Think Pink.” Also present while she was getting tattooed was her husband Paul Jake Castillo.
Prior to this, Abad also marked Cancer Survivors Month with a tribute to the fighters and survivors who are “still fighting, still standing, and still choosing hope.”
“And through it all, let’s always remember that God is there, holding our hands during the hardest days, giving us strength when we feel weak. Never lose faith!” she exclaimed. “Let’s continue to fight together. We are strong. We are survivors.”
Abad disclosed her breast cancer diagnosis as well as being cancer-free through her birthday vlog last May 17. In her vlog, she revealed that she was diagnosed in 2025 after she underwent a mammogram due to a six-hour stomachache she experienced. /edv
