Alex Gonzaga, Mikee Morada expecting first child
After years of trying to conceive and experiencing multiple miscarriages, Alex Gonzaga and Mikee Morada are about to become parents as they announced that they are expecting their first child.
In an Instagram post on Thursday, May 21, Gonzaga shared that she is pregnant following three pregnancy losses.
“After almost 6 years of marriage and 3 heartbreaking losses, we never lost faith and continued to surrender everything to the Lord,” she captioned a video compilation of their sad and hopeful moments.
The video included clips of Gonzaga hospitalized due to a miscarriage, as well as clips of her and Morada dressed in white as they revealed the actress’ growing baby bump and the ultrasound of their child.
Gonzaga revealed that she and Morada had been preparing for in vitro fertilization (IVF) before learning about her natural pregnancy.

The actress also thanked those who supported and prayed for them throughout their journey to parenthood.
“By God’s grace, our prayers have been answered, and we are finally going to be mommy and daddy,” she expressed. “The Lord Jesus truly answers prayers.”
The couple asked the public to continue praying for a safe and healthy pregnancy until the arrival of their baby.
In March 2025, Gonzaga and Morada released a wish lantern into the sky at Shifen Old Street in Taiwan, wishing for “healthy babies.”
Morada disclosed last year that the actress suffered a third miscarriage in late 2024 due to a blighted ovum, a condition in which a fertilized egg implants in the uterus but does not develop into an embryo.
Gonzaga experienced her first miscarriage in 2021, followed by another pregnancy loss in 2023.
The couple tied the knot in 2020 in an intimate home ceremony after four years of dating. /ra
