Vincent Co spotted in PH on supposed European wedding day with Bea Alonzo

Vincent Co was seen in public on Wednesday, May 14 – the same day he and actress Bea Alonzo were rumored to be tying the knot in Spain – amid continuing speculation about the status of their wedding plans. 

As seen in the photos uploaded by NET 25 President Ceasar Vallejos on Facebook, Vincent attended a grocery convention for his supermarket chain at the World Trade Center in Pasay City alongside his father, retail tycoon Lucio Co. 

The three-day event opened May 14 and runs until May 16. Kathryn Bernardo, Shuvee Etrata, Kyline Alcantara and Angeline Quinto appeared as special guests on the first day of the convention.

Vincent’s public appearance came after a source told Inquirer Entertainment that the businessman would be attending a business event and be continents apart from his supposed bride-to-be on the day of their supposed wedding in Spain.

The source further belied reports circulating on social media, supposedly coming from the actress’ camp, that the whole thing was just a temporary postponement and that the wedding would still push through at a later date. 

Some invited guests reportedly received two separate statements regarding the ceremony. One message said the wedding had been “postponed to a later date,” while another stated it had been “canceled,” citing the need for prayers and understanding for Alonzo during a “difficult time.” 

Earlier, another close source told Inquirer Entertainment that the cancellation of the wedding was due to some conflict in Alonzo and Co’s prenuptial agreement. 

Meanwhile, according to other reports, over 125 guests were invited to the supposed European wedding. 

Neither Alonzo nor Co has publicly addressed the status of their relationship or wedding plans as of this writing. /ra
