Filipina stage actress lands Grizabella role in Cats

MANILA, Philippines–Filipina stage actress-singer Joanna Ampil will play the role of Grizabella in the UK and international tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “Cats”, her manager Girlie Rodis told Inquirer on Saturday.

“She was offered one year. She asked if she could do only six but with rehearsals and holidays she leaves in January and back in September,” said Rodis.
