Celeste Cortesi reveals she’s expecting baby boy
Beauty queen-businesswoman Celeste Cortesi turned sentimental as she announced that she is going to have a baby boy.
Cortesi, the Miss Universe Philippines 2022 titleholder, revealed the sex of her first child through her Instagram page on Wednesday, April 30.
In the post, she showed a cake with a blue filling that indicated that her child is a boy, as well as a photo of her and her Italian father when she was a kid.
“Sergio, my little piece from heaven,” she wrote in the caption, which is apparently her son’s name. “A love that never left, just came back in a new way… I still can’t believe you’ll be born the same month as my dad, I love you forever.”

In an interview with fellow beauty queen Kylie Verzosa on the latter’s podcast, Cortesi, 28, opened up about her pregnancy and disclosed that she and her partner Jonathan Sterling had been trying to have a baby in the past months.
“In the past year, I was ready to have a baby. I wanted to and we were ready,” she said, further noting that she had always wanted to be a mom before she turns 30. “I was like, if it happens, I’m gonna be so happy.”
Speaking about the sex of her baby, she recounted, “When I found out it was a boy, I was like, ‘This is meant to be my baby.'”
Cortesi announced her pregnancy last April 19 by showing off her baby bump. /edv
