4th Impact rebrands into 4Sisters

Filipino girl group 4th Impact entered a new chapter in their career, announcing they would rebrand as 4Sisters, a name that underscores their strong bond as a family and their shared passion for creating “beautiful music together.”
The quartet — composed of sisters Almira, Irene, Mylene, and Celina Cercado — announced the change in their group name on Instagram on Saturday, April 12. They said that, despite rebranding as 4Sisters, each of their group names represented a specific period of their careers.
“For years, you’ve known us by many names—Cercado Sisters, Gollayan Sisters, MICA, 4th Power, and 4th Impact. Each name holds a chapter of our journey that we will always be grateful for. But beyond all of that, we’ve always just been sisters,” she said.
The girl group added that 4Sisters represent their “real lives” beyond their stage personas.
“This is more than a rebrand. This is us finally showing our real lives beyond the stage. To our Dreamers, thank you for staying with us through every era. Your love means everything,” they said.

Referring to those who just found out about their journey recently, the female quartet hoped that they would be recognized not only for their talents but also for their shared story of pursuing their dreams as a family.
“And to those just discovering us, welcome — we hope you take this moment to get to know us, not just as performers, but as sisters. This is our new beginning. This is our real story. We are 4SISTERS,” they said.
The sibling group was formed in 2001 at the suggestion of their aunt. After five years of singing in various events, they competed at the World Championships of Performing Arts, where they won several gold medals.
While the girl group continued to participate in various competitions, it was their appearances on “Superstar K6” and “The X Factor” season 12 in 2014 and 2015, respectively, that made them better known to the public./edv
