Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Daniel Caesar delighted Filipino fans after he announced Manila as one of the stops of his “Son Of Spergy” 2026 concert tour.

The Canadian artist, whose real name is Ashton Simmonds, announced through his Instagram page on Wednesday, April 1, the schedule of his world tour which will feature his latest studio album.

Caesar is set to stage his Manila show on May 19 at SM Mall of Asia Arena. Aside from the Philippines, the singer will also hold concerts in other Asian countries such as Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan, and Thailand; and in the United States and Canada.

Details of the ticket selling have yet to be announced as of this writing.

Caesar’s May concert will be his fourth time holding a show in the country—first was during the Wanderland Music and Arts Festival in 2018, then his solo concerts in 2019 and 2023.

Caesar is best known for his songs “Best Part”—which features Filipino-American R&B singer H.E.R. and which won the Best R&B Performance award at the 2019 Grammys—”Get You,” “Who Knows,” “Always,” and “Streetcar.”

The singer released “Son of Spergy,” his fourth studio album, in October 2025. /edv
