Prior to BTS’ much-awaited comeback concert at Gwanghwamun Square, the K-pop powerhouse treated their fans — the ARMYs — to new music with the release of their latest studio album “Arirang.”

The new album marks the group’s first full-group project in almost four years. It consists of 14 tracks—namely “Body to Body,” “Hooligan,” “Aliens,” “FYA,” “2.0,” “No. 29,” “SWIM,” “Merry Go Round,” “NORMAL,” “Like Animals,” “they don’t know ‘bout us,” “One More Night,” “Please” and “Into the Sun.”

Alongside the album release, BTS also dropped the music video of the main track “SWIM,” which features Hollywood actress Lili Reinhart.

The album’s name was derived from a Korean folk song, which has approximately 3,600 variations of 60 different versions. BTS’ latest LP, according to the group’s agency Big Hit Entertainment, “delves into the emotional journey and introspection experienced by the seven members over the years.”

The release of “Arirang” will be followed by BTS’ stage comeback, which will be held in Seoul on Saturday, March 21, and will be available for livestream via streaming platform Netflix. /ra
