Billed as the bored housewives of Alabang, Pam Spella and Vanessa Ishitani joined “The Amazing Race Philippines” because they had a crush on host Derek Ramsay. Vanessa was afraid of getting sun-burned while island-hopping. “My skin is fake. I used to be dark. My husband spent half a million pesos to make me fairer.
