Rhian Ramos shares quote about truly knowing self amid judgment

Amid the assault and illegal detention accusations against her by her driver, Rhian Ramos reflected on the importance of knowing oneself to not be “disturbed” by other people’s judgment.

The actress reposted via her Instagram Stories on Wednesday, Feb. 4, a quote card shared by author Divi Maggo.

“Turns out the whole point is to know yourself so intimately that no one’s projection or judgment could ever disturb your reality of who you are,” the quote read.

Ramos did not put any caption in her post, only adding Marc Scibilia’s “Bitterweet Symphony” as the background music.

Ramos—along with Michelle Dee and Samantha Panlilio—was accused by her driver of “torturing” and illegally detaining him at her condominium unit from Jan. 17 to19. The incident allegedly stemmed from accusations that the driver stole Dee’s envelope containing sensitive photos.

The female celebrities have denied the allegations, while the driver insisted he does not possess the alleged stolen item.

Dee has also filed a qualified theft complaint against the driver anew, after the initial similar case she filed was dismissed. Dee’s lawyer, Maggie Abraham-Garduque, clarified that the dismissal of the previous complaint was not because of lack of basis.

“[The case] was recommended to be filed on a regular preliminary investigation proceedings and not via inquest investigation. Thus, the resolution states that this dismissal is without prejudice to the refiling thereof through regular preliminary investigation proceedings,” the lawyer said. /edv
