The heart-wrenching impact of Cup of Joe’s “Multo” continues to be felt by audiences, as it brought home the Song of the Year award at the inaugural TikTok LIVE Awards. 

The Cup of Joe-led smash hit, which maintains its reign on the charts and award ceremonies, is one of the awardees recognized at the first edition of the TikTok LIVE Awards.

BGYO said creating content on the social media platform brought them closer as a group and empowered them to showcase their personalities apart from their music.

Meanwhile, Avila said being a content creator on the platform allowed her to expand her boundaries not only in the Philippines but also in different countries. She previously represented the country at the TikTok LIVE Fest in Phuket, Thailand.

“TikTok has given me international stages, greater exposure, and a real-time connection with my fans. My experience at TikTok Live Fest in Phuket was incredible; I loved meeting creators from around the world, celebrating our successes, and helping pave the way for Filipino creators on the global scene,” she said.

According to the social media platform, the first edition of the awards ceremony recognizes artists and content creators who built a community through “storytelling, authentic conversations, and real-time interactions.” /edv
