Kris Aquino undergoes operation after delay

Kris Aquino’s minor operation finally pushed through Tuesday after it was postponed for a day due to her “sky high” blood pressure.
The former actress-TV host gave an update on her medical procedure through her Instagram page on Tuesday night, Jan. 13. She showed herself in a hospital gown, cozy sitting on a hospital bed beside her sons Josh and Bimby prior to the operation.
“This surgery was delayed from yesterday to very soon because my [blood pressure] was sky high the whole of Sunday—the culprit, my migraine,” she said.
In the picture, Aquino’s face appeared to be less gaunt as before. She had previously stated that her doctors have been trying to make her gain weight amid her 11 autoimmune conditions.
Kris then thanked her medical team, particularly her pain management doctor, for handling the situation effectively and being able to “find the right formula.”
“Entering the [preoperative] area. Kuya was shaking and automatically grabbed Bimb’s hand,” she stated.
“I did something right in making sure Bimb grew up knowing he’ll be responsible for his Kuya. And kuya feels secure with Bimb,” she added. “Going in.”

Kris, through her fan account, earlier announced that she would be undergoing a minor operation amid her 11 autoimmune diseases.
However, she later shared that the procedure was rescheduled because her blood pressure was too high. She also admitted at the time that she was feeling nervous and having trouble sleeping. /edv
