Vic Sotto undergoes cataract surgery
Vic Sotto appears to now be well after he recently underwent a cataract extraction procedure, as disclosed by his wife Pauleen Luna.
Luna spoke about the veteran TV host’s surgery while showing him at a checkup appointment with their family doctor, through her Instagram Stories on Saturday, Dec. 20.
“[One] day [postoperative] cataract extraction,” the actress-TV host’s caption read.
According to Mayo Clinic, a cataract surgery is a procedure “to remove the lens of the eye and, in most cases, replace it with an artificial lens.”

While Luna opted not to expound on Sotto’s medical procedure, it appears that the TV host has been healing well as he was able to attend to his hosting duties at his noontime show “Eat Bulaga” on Saturday as well.
Meanwhile, during the Saturday episode of “Eat Bulaga,” Vic was joined by Luna, their daughter Tali, and Kristine Hermosa, the wife of the veteran TV host’s son Oyo Sotto, as show guests.
