‘Thy Womb’ is now official MMFF entry

MANILA, Philippines—Brillante Mendoza’s “Thy Womb” is now an official entry in this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival, the film’s producer, Wilson Tieng of Solar, said.

“Thy Womb” will take over the slot left by Chris Martinez and Jerrold Tarog’s “Mga Kuwento ni Lola Basyang,” which backed out as if October 17.
