Vice Ganda teases possible guesting on ‘Bubble Gang’

Vice Ganda sparked online buzz after he teased a seeming appearance on GMA Network’s long-running comedy gag show “Bubble Gang,” which is celebrating its 30th anniversary.
The “It’s Showtime” host took to his Instagram Stories on Monday, Sept. 29, to post a photo of a bouquet of white roses with a note that read: “Dear Vice, Thank you for guesting. Batang Bubble ka na!” (Dear Vice, Thank you for guesting. You are now a Bubble kid!).
The note was unsigned, and Vice Ganda simply reacted with a smiling emoji and a red heart. The Instagram Story comes two years after the Kapamilya star openly shared his wish to appear on “Bubble Gang.”

“Nag-aantay lang din naman ako ng imbitasyon at saka kung anong gagawin (I’m just waiting for an invitation and to know what I’ll be doing),” Vice Ganda said in 2023.
At the time, mainstay “Bubble Gang” artist Michael V. also appeared on “It’s Showtime” where he met with Vice Ganda.
Michael V. appeared on the noontime show to celebrate the birthday of his long-term friend Ogie Alcasid, who was also originally part of the comedy gag before his departure in 2013.
Michael V. also expressed his desire to do a Mr. Assimo skit with Vice Ganda during a previous media conference for “Bubble Gang.”
“The last time we met, the last time na nagkausap kami, lagi niyang sinasabi, sana makapag-guest ako sa ‘Bubble Gang’ (The last time we met, the last time we talked, he would always say, hopefully I could guest on Bubble Gang),” shared the comedy genius.
“Bubble Gang” recently went viral for its parody of contractors Sarah and Pacifico “Curlee” Discaya, who were linked to the ongoing flood control corruption probe. Michael V. impersonated Sarah.
As of writing, Vice Ganda’s date of appearance on “Bubble Gang” has not yet been announced.
The comedy sketch airs every Sunday at 6:15 p.m. on GMA. /edv
