Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are officially each other’s “end game,” as the couple announced that they are set to tie the knot soon.
Swift and Kelce announced their engagement in a joint Instagram post on Wednesday, August 27, where the singer-songwriter happily accepted the Kansas City Chiefs’ proposal in a garden filled with colorful flowers.
Aside from photos of the couple being affectionate with each other, the post also showed a closer look at Swift’s gold engagement ring with a rectangular-shaped diamond.
“Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,” she captioned her post.

It remains unknown how the football player popped the question to his wife-to-be, but the post showed the “Fearless” singer being ecstatic after accepting his wedding proposal.
Swift and Kelce’s engagement came weeks after the announcement of the singer-songwriter’s 12th studio album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” in the latter’s “New Heights” podcast with his brother Jason.
In the podcast, the hitmaker also looked back at how she was able to obtain the master recordings of her six albums, saying that it was her mother and brother who helped in negotiating the deal.
Swift and Kelce began dating in the summer of 2023, although they went public with their romance in September of the same year. Before publicizing their relationship, much of their getting-to-know-you stage was kept away from the public eye, giving them time to “get to know each other.”
Kelce has been vocal about his admiration for Swift on multiple occasions, sharing that he expressed his interest in the latter by giving her a friendship bracelet—one of the most beloved elements of the “Eras Tour”—with his number. /cb
