ORANGE COUNTY, California—Angela Baraquio Grey is a Filipino-American woman of many passions. Besides being the first and only Asian American to be crowned Miss America, a Television Host, Public Speaker, Educator, and Media Spokesperson, Angela is also a heavy fixture in the political community.

Her family launched the highly successful Hawaii-based TV Show “Living Local with the Baraquios” in 2004 to critical acclaim and has garnered 13 Telly Awards. Now her new project is a musical collaboration between herself and husband Tini Grey.

The two first made national news together when they were engaged 11 years ago in Honolulu, Hawaii.

FEATURED STORIES

The couple collaborated on the full length CD earlier this year, co-writing the aptly titled “Shades of Grey”, an odyssey of love, passion, pleasure and empowerment through keen storytelling and heart-felt insight that showcases the varied experiences of a young couple creating the life of their dreams.

Tini’s distinctive voice and choice production techniques certified the release commercially viable and the 12 song CD, released September 25, 2012, is poised to reach a very broad market with its crossover appeal. Tini released his first music video “Company” on YouTube, a colorful love song with a fun island vibe, featuring his family and friends. Other homegrown artists featured on the album are Uncle Willie K, Justin Young, Shawn Ishimoto, and younger brother Taumata Grey of the popular group “Common Kings”.
