Dutch DJ Fedde le Grand rocks Resorts World Manila club

Dutch house DJ Fedde Le Grand rocked a packed full Republiq Club at the Resorts World Mall last September 27. His visit to the Philippines was part of an international tour.

MANILA, Philippines—Internationally renowned house DJ Fedde le Grand rocked Republiq Club in Resorts World Manila in a party last September 27.

Dutch-born Grand started the party around 12 midnight and kept the fully packed Republiq Club going until the early hours of Friday.

His visit in the Philippines came after a month-long tour of the United States where he performed in clubs in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Diego, Miami and Boston.

In August, he went around the world performing in Spain, Cyprus, his country the Netherlands, Hungary, Thailand, Singapore, the UK, Switzerland, Greece, Croatia and Italy.

After the Philippines, he is set to perform in clubs in Taiwan, France, Turkey, the Netherlands and Slovenia.

Grand is also a music producer whose single “Put Your Hands Up for Detroit,” released in the US and theUK, reached the top spot of the UK’s singles chart.

It also stayed in the top five of the Dutch singles chart while also staying for five weeks in the Spanish dance chart.

Grand was consistently in the annual top 100 DJ poll of DJ magazine since 2009. He was ranked No. 29 in 2009 climbing up to the number 21 in 2010.

He continued to be recognized for his music by climbing further to the 14h rank of the poll in 2011.
