Anne Curtis strutted her stuff and charmed her way at the recent fan meet for South Korean actor Park Seo-joon at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City on Saturday, July 12.
Park’s fans began lining up the venue hours before the show, dubbed “The Ultimate Fan Fest,” bringing with them mini-pictures of the original K-drama “Fight For my Way” actor.
Curtis opened the event in a black see-through shift dress with a mesh cut-out in the middle that showed off her curves and fit physique. She finished off the look with a pair of red patent leather gloves.
The “It’s Okay Not To Be Okay” lead star posted about her look for the fan meet on her Instagram.
“Glove is in the air… and also loads of kaba (nerves),” she captioned her post.

Curtis and Park are the brand ambassadors for a canned tuna brand, which sponsored the catwalk prior to the actual fan meet. She also took part in fitness-themed segments and shared the stage in a light-hearted, energetic exchange that delighted fans.
When Park entered the stage in his red denim jacket and white top and pants, the audience erupted into a deafening cheers.
Curtis, a known K-drama fan, couldn’t help but give in to her fangirl dreams, giggling as she introduced the “Itaewon Class” star to the crowd.
“What an honor it is to share the stage with someone who’s not just a K-drama superstar, but also the perfect example of being fit for any role… You know what, the Philippines and the Filipinos adore you so much,” she told him. “Seo-joon, you already won the hearts of everyone here tonight, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome you here.”
“Mabuhay Philippines. I’m so happy to be here. Let’s have a great time,” he told Curtis and the crowd.
One of the highlights of the fan meet, however, was when Curtis tasted Park’s tuna and kimchi wrap.
Park later on took to his Instagram to message his fans. “It was nice meeting you, Philippines,” he captioned his selfie.

This marked Park’s third fan meet in Manila, and fourth visit to the Philippines. He was at the MOA Arena in September 2019, and again visited the country in October 2023. He previously said that he had been to Cebu a few years back, which he said was a memorable experience for him. /edv
