Jessica Soho open to ‘PBB’ housemate stint ‘when schedule allows’
Award-winning broadcast journalist Jessica Soho is open to the idea of getting locked inside the “Pinoy Big Brother” (PBB) house once her schedule clears up.
Soho made her first visit to the “PBB” house last weekend, which was featured in the Sunday episode of her show “Kapuso Mo: Jessica Soho.” The episode was taped ahead of the announcement of the big winners of the “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition.”
Before she entered the iconic “PBB” house, Soho was reminded of a few house rules, including not being allowed to inform the remaining housemates about the latest happenings outside because they have been inside the house for three months with no contact from the outside world. Cellphones and clocks are not allowed in the vicinity.
Soho was given the opportunity to talk to Big Brother, also known as Kuya, the unseen, unidentified voice that guides and interacts with the housemates. During their talk in the infamous confession room, the TV host said she “never thought her visit was possible.”
“It seems like you want to be a housemate, Jessica,” Big Brother told the broadcast journalist in Tagalog.
“Please not today, not this week, Kuya; I have plenty of commitments, I have so much to do. You can lock me up some other time, but not today, not this week,” Soho said with a laugh.
Big Brother responded that he would remember Soho’s request, with her replying that she is very “game” for next time.
Big Brother has previously surprised other celebrities when he suddenly locked them up inside the “PBB” house, including hosts Mavy Legaspi, Gabbi Garcia, Melai Cantiveros, and Alexa Ilacad.
Meanwhile, Soho took the time to get to know the remaining housemates and gave them one piece of advice: “Be good and do good.”
On Saturday, July 5, Mika Salamanca and Brent Manalo (BreKa) were declared the Big Winners of the “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab” edition.
Ralph de Leon and Will Ashley (RaWi) were named second big placer while the duos of Charlie Fleming and Esnyr Ranollo (CharEs) and AZ Martinez and River Joseph (AZVer) secured the third and fourth big placer spots, respectively. /edv
