Comedienne Pokwang said she is considering legal action against fans of “Pinoy Big Brother” Gen 11 big winner Fyang Smith after her daughter Malia was allegedly dragged into online attacks following unsolicited advice she gave to the young star.
Pokwang warned that she has already taken screenshots of the comments from Smith’s fans that allegedly imply ill will towards her 7-year-old daughter.
“She’s the one with fans who love her so much, to the point that even my daughter Malia is spoken about negatively! I have already taken screenshots of the comments so I can sue,” the actress-comedian wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

The issue stemmed from Pokwang reminding Smith “to be humble” after the latter made remarks claiming their “PBB” batch was “unbeatable” amid the anticipated announcement of the new Big 4 winners from the latest edition, “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab.”
Pokwang remarked that she has been in the industry for 21 years and that the secret to longevity is humility, noting that she has worked with several veterans who have kept their feet on the ground.
“The times I worked with Nadine, Liza Soberano, Sandara Park, Kim Chiu, and Melai are unforgettable, even the times with Marian Rivera, Vilma Santos, Eddie Garcia, Tatay Dolphy, and Gloria Romero,” she wrote.
“I’m glad that before I became outdated, I already worked with the biggest names in the industry, including John Lloyd, Aga, Claudine Barretto, Bossing Vic and Judy Ann Santos. It’s okay to be unpopular if I have already worked with them,” the actress continued.
Smith recently came under fire after claiming that their “PBB” batch cannot be “surpassed,” no matter how many batches or versions come. Her “playful” actions during the same event also drew negative reactions from netizens when she was seen putting her saliva on a fellow star’s face with her finger while he was publicly speaking.
As of this writing, Smith has yet to address the videos, Pokwang, and the comments from netizens. /edv
