AC Bonifacio was sent into fangirl mode after her dance cover of “Killin’ It Girl” was noticed by BTS member J-Hope.
J-Hope, who originally sang “Killin’ It Girl,” left a series of emoji in the comments section of Bonifacio’s dance cover.
The Filipina dancer then replied, “I’m your hope. You’re my hope. J-hope, I love you [crying emoji].”

This isn’t the first time J-Hope noticed a Filipino artist. In February, the K-pop star followed content creator Niana Guerrero on TikTok. At the time, he also praised Guerrero’s dance cover of his song “Mona Lisa.”
In April, J-Hope and Guerrero finally met in person during the BTS member’s visit to Manila for his concert. They treated Filipino fans to a much-anticipated dance collaboration.
Meanwhile, all of BTS members — V (Kim Taehyung), RM (Kim Nam-joon), Jin (Kim Seok-jin), Suga (Min Yoon-gi), Jimin (Park Jimin), Jungkook (Jeon Jung-kook) — recently reunited at J-Hope’s (Jung Hoseok) concert in Korea.
The reunion comes after the seven members finished their mandatory military service. For the first time in a long while, the boy group held a livestream where they confirmed the group’s comeback.
They announced that they would return in the spring of 2026 with an album and world tour. They are also rolling out their first-ever live album.
“Starting in July… we’re planning to make something massive, so from then on, we’ll probably gather together and stay focused on making music,” band leader RM said. /ra
