The first night of the wake of Lolit Solis was attended by celebrities including Christopher de Leon, his wife Sandy Andolong, Lorna Tolentino and Pauleen Luna.

De Leon, Tolentino, Luna—who were Solis’ former talents—and Andolong paid their last respects to the veteran columnist and offered their sympathies to her family on Friday, July 4, as seen in an Instagram post shared by TV host and radio personality Mr. Fu, who also visited the wake.

Other celebrities who were present as well were Tonton Gutierrez and his wife Glydel Mercado, Lani Mercado, Amy Austria, Benjie Paras and ABS-CBN executive Cory Vidanes.

Aside from the aforementioned celebrities, several others had earlier paid tribute to Solis. Among them were Bong Revilla, Jolo Revilla, Niño Muhlach and Yasmien Kurdi.

Solis’ wake is being held at the Aeternitas Chapels and Columbarium in Quezon City. The remains of the veteran columnist’s will be cremated on Tuesday, July 8, as per Philippine Entertainment Portal.

Solis died on July 3 at the age of 78, as confirmed by her daughter Sneezy. Solis, who had long battled kidney disease, suffered from a heart attack while hospitalized at the FEU-NRMF Medical Center. /ra
