The search for the next Mutya ng Pilipinas queens has begun with the national pageant’s call for aspirants to this year’s competition.
One of the longest-running pageants in the Philippines asked “Saan Ka Mutya (Where are you Mutya)?” on social media, ushering in the start of applications for its 2025 edition.
Mutya ng Pilipinas queens had a triumphant run last year, with all delegates bringing home honors from their respective international competitions.
Liana Barrido became the sixth Filipino woman to be crowned Miss Tourism International in Malaysia, while Alyssa Redondo and Megan Campbell were runners-up in the Miss Intercontinental pageant and World Top Model contest, respectively.
Mutya ng Pilipinas-Charity Xena Ramos, meanwhile, received a surprise appointment to represent the Philippines in the Miss Global pageant in Thailand earlier this year. She finished fifth overall.
“Are you ready to take that first brave step and represent where you come from with pride? Whether you’re from the quiet towns of Luzon, the vibrant islands of Visayas, or the rich cultures of Mindanao—we’re looking for someone like you,” Mutya ng Pilipinas posted.
“This isn’t just about wearing a crown. It’s about finding your voice, standing for your purpose, and joining a sisterhood that champions Sustainability, Inclusivity, and Tourism,” continued the post.
