Julia Barretto and Enrique Gil are speculated to be working on a new project together after they were seen in a meeting with film directors Antoinette Jadaone and Dan Villegas, and executives of the latter’s production company Slingshot Studios.
A photo of the actors at a restaurant was shared by the company through its Instagram page on Thursday, July 3.

In a separate Instagram post, Gil’s business partner Ranvel Rufino showed himself posing for a photo with the actors.

Also part of the meeting were Slingshot Studios producer Steve Vesagas, digital creator Tim Jimenez, and writer Mark Angos.
Another glimpse of the meeting was shared by production company Project 8 Projects via its Instagram page, tagging the handle of MQuest Ventures, the content creation hub of MediaQuest Holdings.

No further details on the speculated project were immediately made public.
Barretto and Gil had already worked in the past, starring together in the 2014 TV series “Mirabella.”
Just last March, Slingshot Studios inked a multi-film contract with MQuest Ventures.
“I’m really excited for Slingshot and MediaQuest to be able to work together and bring wonderful stories to all the Filipinos, to inspire them and hopefully make a difference in our very own small way,” Gil said at the time. /ra
